We have performed the Complete 3D survey of the viaduct on the N205 road, a strategic infrastructure linking France and the Mont Blanc tunnel. The objective was accurately define the current situation and provide a technical basis for the design of expansion and upgrading works.
The challenge
The operation required a detailed and accurate representation of all the main structural elements, to enable targeted engineering analyses and stability checks. It was therefore necessary to acquire data high-resolution photogrammetric and geometric surveys, keeping operating times to a minimum and without interfering with traffic.
The “ad hoc” solution”
We have created a complete 3D model of the viaduct and generated highly detailed orthophotos of all its main components: shoulders, deck and elevations.
The result is a accurate and up-to-date digital database, now used as a reference for activities involving:
– structural design and reinforcement,
- periodic monitoring and inspection,
- maintenance planning.
High-precision surveying that combines operational efficiency, geometric quality and technical value serving the security and evolution of the infrastructure.
