Technology

We design our surveys according to the features of the site, to the desired representation scale, to the available acquisition time frame and to the costumer needs. We make an integrated use of different kind of measuring instruments to offer static (e.g. digital photogrammetry thermography laser scanner) or mobile (e.g. laser sanner DAHU positioning system) survey solutions

DAHU

The DAHU is our self-positioning and navigation system for both indoor and outdoor kinematic surveys (MMS - Mobile Mapping System). It can be mounted on different kind of vehicles (cars, railway wagons, UAVs) and can be configured with different kind of acquisition sensors, according to the custom survey needs. The electronic control and integration system (hardware software) has been entirely deigned and manufactured by AdHoc 3D.

Data processing

All the data we acquire are elaborated with our most advanced proprietary methodologies. Filtering, data cleaning, alignment, statistical analysis and compensation, 3D model generation algorithms... they all come from our R&D team, that guarantees a very high quality and precision standard.

Output

We deliver 3D models, True Orthophotos, CAD drawings, plans, prospects, and sections, 3D videos. We have also developed specific tools to extract information for geological or geotechnical analysis, civil, architectural or plant design. We design 3D information systems to manage restoration or maintenance activities, beside archeological documentation, based on our own viewer, called AdHoc that has innovative tools to enhance 3D models details and for an immersive navigation.

Reference systems

AdHoc 3D developed and copyrighted its worldwide unique way of managing geographic reference systems. This approach is applied in all the laser scanner survey Ad Hoc 3D performs, and makes it possible to convert data in a rigorous way to express them in the most suitable reference system for the project (Lambert, UTM, ...). We offer our advisory service to define rigorous geodetic rules to transform data between different reference systems.

3D information management system

We turn 3D models into true Information Management System 3D (GIS3D). The key-elements are described in their position, dimension and features, to be then managed, queried and visualized in a 3D environment. We develop each Information Management System together with our customers, from the design of database where the key-features are stored, to the definition of the custom queries, processings and reports that are needed, beside of the way to present the results. Data and software, beside custom field forms and reporting tools, are also available for tablets to facilitate on site inspections and the maintenance management.

Data integration

To overlay the results of different investigations onto 3D models data is an incredible value-adding approach.
3D - InSAR: We perform the precise projection of data coming from terrestrial InSAR surveys onto the surveyed 3D surfaces.
3D - Geophysics:We integrate into our 3D models data coming from geophysics surveys: vertical sections (radarplots), horizontal sections (time-slice) or core-drillings.
3D Survey - Rendering: We add 3D models and renderings coming from design software into our laser scanner surveys.

By exploiting the most innovative logics in digital photogrammetry we create 3D models and geo-referenced true orthophotos. Ad Hoc 3D offers an on line image processing service.
