Environment

We integrate different measuring systems rigorously managing the reference systems. We've developed an our own proprietary methodology that guarantees quality, precision, coherence and completeness of the aquired information. We integrate in our 3D models data coming from external sources such as geophysics, geothecnial surveys, terrestrial InSAR. We deliver custom solutions for land managing.

We perform 3D survey of slopes in a quick and safe way. We use the most advanced technologies in data analysis to support the extraction of the most important geotechnical parameters that are useful in stability studies, investigations about rock fallings and volume computation and 3D monitoring.

The methodologies we have developed are a perfect fit for the characterization of the forestry and hydrogeological resources.

The survey was useful in the geotechnical analyses of the northern bank and for the design of the extension of the actual power station (North Bank Power Station Project). Our survey integrated local cartography, with the usual rigorous approach we have towards reference systems.

3D laser scanner survey of the Sassi di Matera, a site in the Unesco World Heritage list since 1993, for geotechnical analysis on the right part of the Gravina di Matera. By exploiting the produced 3D model, the main tension cracks of the rock slope were identified.

3D survey of the world-famous Via dell'Amore, at Riomaggiore in the Unesco World Heritage site, Cinque Terre. The survey helped the geotechnical studies for the design of the interventions that were aimed at reducing the rock falling risk. The unstable parts of the rock walls were identified; the main tension cracks and their intersections were identified; the unstable volumes were computed. Thanks to the measurement of 3D areas on the rock slope, to the Roughness computation and rock falling simulation, many scenarios were evaluated to maximize the protection given by the nets.

3D laser scanner and UAV survey of Fenille rock slope. The geotechnical analysis was performed and unstable areas were identified by using Ad Hoc semi-automated tools. The roughness of the surface was computed, the vegetation on the area was identified, and the position, kind, height and mean radius of the main trees were extracted. The 3D statistical rock falling analysis was performed. The active and passive safety interventions were designed.

3D laser scanner survey of the Darsena Grande area in Milan in the framework of Expo 2015 works in the city. We integrated our 3D model with geophysical survey (radar plots and time-slice). By a dynamic analysis of the ground and underground situation, comprehensive sections were extracted, volumes were measured, and the position and feature of underground structures were identified.
